2C Heavy Cream
1/2tsp salt
3/4c sugar
1tbs vodka
1/2tsp vanilla extract
– Combine all the ingedients and whisk until the sugar is dissolved
– Whip until stiff peaks form (happens faster when cold)
– Freeze overnight (6ish hours)
– For the caramel shard, melt 1/2c sugar with a little water
– Cook over high heat; once the water evaporates, the caramelization happens were quickly.
– cook it to your desired color. the darker, the more intense but more bitter too
– pour onto parchment paper or aluminum foil and let it cool completely before SMASHING (:
